  • Applications: Visualization of tree-like structures, Virtual endoscopy, Visualization of tensor images, Navigation in surgery

Objectives

Using the example of medical image data we will discuss basic visualization methods and techniques for volume data. Specific examples demonstrate its clinical application. The Visualsation Toolkit VTK will be presented and practically applied in the context of the exercises.
