The Interactive Graphics Systems Group is focusing on a wide range of research topics in the field of Computer Graphics, such as the Geometric Search and Semantic Modeling for Digital Libraries applications, and Digitisation in Computer Graphics, Medical Image Processing and Visual Search and Analysis. In addition, the department both offers introductory lectures, such as Computer Graphics I and II, Human Computer Systems, as well as higher lectures. more »

Multiple presence of GRIS at the EuroGraphics Conference on Visualization (EuroVis/EuroVA)

With an overall of six contributions, GRIS looks back on a successful participation in this years' EuroVis/EuroVA conference in Brno, Czech Republic in June 2018. Ms. Tatiana von Landesberger (leader of the Visual Search group) has co-organized the Workshop on Visual Analytics (EuroVA), Mr. J├╝rgen Bernard (leader of the Interactive Machine Learning group) presented papers at EuroVA and EuroVis. Mr. Marcel Wunderlich shared new insights in the visualization of train uncertainty in a poster presentation.

The Interactive Graphics Systems Group is headed by the Managing Director Prof. Fellner, who is also directing the Fraunhofer Institute for Computer Graphics Research (IGD) since 2007.
